I can hardly believe it, but… the documentary is finished! 🤩
Around five years ago I asked myself: where do you even begin when you want to make a documentary about something that has shaped your entire life?
I had a vague idea, but nothing concrete. With the help of documentary maker and mentor Susanne Opstal, I created a film plan that clarified the core of my story. And together with cameraman/Director of Photography Bart Martens, I was able to shape it visually in the way I had imagined. 🎬

Then the real challenge began. Filming interviews, cinematic scenes and a music video (Hello Fear). The edit became an intensive puzzle of refining and rewriting. Music, sound design and color grading finally gave the film exactly the layers and atmosphere it needed. Now that it’s finished, I’m genuinely very happy with the result.

This thirty-minute documentary is not only about my autism or my life story. 🌍 It shows what it’s like when you process the world differently, how that feels on the inside, and what it means in daily life — for yourself and for the people around you.
It’s a personal film about fear, overstimulation, and the search for a way forward in this complicated world.
I hope the film will be meaningful to those who watch it. That it offers insight, recognition, or simply a new perspective on something that often remains invisible.
Before I can share it, there are still a few things to finish. I’m working on the artwork and the trailer, and if possible, I’d like to organise a small premiere. But after that, it’s finally time.
I can’t wait to share the film with you! 😊
