Images of People
From my point of view, the most important images are images of people. A human face or body carries so much information. Lifting an eyebrow just a few millimeters can be the difference from anger to interest, widening the mouth corners can change an expression from a smirk to a smile, turning the head a little bit makes an interested face change into a sceptical one. Every millimeter of our face is part of a whole expression, a story, a picture. I am fascinated by the stories of faces, bodies and the context they are put in. Portraits can be staged or candid, but they always carry a story.
